Subscribe to Any Blog for Free On Your Kindle

If you are like me, you love your Kindle. Although I very begrudgingly gave up my literal book collecting to switch over to the digital form last year, I must admit, there is nothing like breaking out a Kindle in those moments where other unfortunates have to lug out a dusty old heavy book to entertain themselves.

Education On-the-Go

Although I love a good entertaining fiction book, sometimes I just can’t spare the luxury of spending time on something that will not benefit my workload. I may even have ten website pages that I should be studying at any given time. In fact, I recently ran a statistic on my own Google trail for the day and found that as a writer and researcher, I do an average of 1,000 search engine queries per day.

Send it To My Kindle!

With ToMyKindle I can capture many different elements that can be found online and have it sent to my Kindle through the email address assigned to me by the Kindle Store. This will usually be the same as your email’s custom address. youremail@hotmail.com will become youremail@kindle.com.

I can send:

  • Photos
  • Texts
  • RSS Feeds
  • Web Pages
  • Notes
  • Schedules
  • Diagrams

To top that off, I can even subscribe to a daily option that will send me that page’s contents for each day. This is a great option for grabbing a blog you use regularly and putting in on your Kindle so you can catch up no matter how far you are from your computer. You can even text your grocery list to your Kindle, that is, if you would prefer to read it on a seven inch screen as opposed to your phone’s micro display.

It CAN cost to accept them YES! But those who have prime amazon accounts or utilize their affiliate and financing systems Do have benefits that allow them to reap a few benefits! Now that you have asked though, I am going to test this out myself on mine and will report back!

  3. Thanks for pointing this out. I find myself using my kindle software on my touchpad more than my actual kindle these days, but this would still be useful.

My only question: Does it cost to send it to the e-mail address? I remember paying to send pdf’s to my kindle.

    Thanks!
